Shannon Lee started the first five years of her career as a teacher and over the past decade, she has contributed to scaling the reach and impact of mission-driven education nonprofits around the world. An operator at heart, Shannon is passionate about building and improving programs, systems, and processes to ensure a first-in-class experience for educators and students. In the past, she has scaled international partnerships to expand students’ higher education mobility, led international expansion efforts at Girls Who Code, and led nonprofits through critical growth stages in support of diversifying opportunities for learners across industries. Shannon holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s degree from Columbia University, Teachers College. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York and can be found trying new foods across the five boroughs.
