Minnesota Educators of Color Scholarship
Thanks to funding from the Bush Foundation, any educator of color in Minnesota can apply for a scholarship to the Virtual Mentorship Program and receive a $500 stipend upon completion of the program.
Through this opportunity, Minnesota educators of color will learn how to build a blended, self-paced, mastery-based classroom responsive to every student's needs. Educators will work 1:1 with an Expert Mentor who will guide them through creating classroom-ready materials - completely free of charge.
You Receive:
-
Professional development at your own pace, but with the hands-on support of an Expert Mentor, a current educator teaching with our innovative model.
-
We’ve developed a virtual network of other educators of color, creating a space for you to connect and explore.
-
As part of your scholarship, you will have access to exclusive working sessions tailored to your needs.
Join the Community
In conjunction with this scholarship, educators of color have the opportunity to join a national community of educators of color meeting monthly to support one another as educators and implementers of a blended, self-paced, and mastery-based learning environment. We will provide you with the space to get introduced to some of our best leaders of color in this movement and show up as your authentic self. We can’t wait to see you there.
With the Minnesota Educators of Color scholarship, you'll receive everything our Virtual Mentorship Program offers, including an Expert Mentor, credentialing, ongoing support, plus a $500 stipend.
