Sessions & Speakers

  • Paul Emerich France is a National Board Certified Teacher and education consultant. He is the author of Reclaiming Personalized Learning and the upcoming Make Teaching Sustainable. His work is featured in Edutopia, EdSurge, ASCD’s Educational Leadership, and Learning Forward’s The Learning Professional.  His session will provide administrators with frameworks, tools, and inspiration for supporting personalized instruction as educators implement the Modern Classrooms Project model.

  • Jessica Jackson is Director of Professional Learning for the Learner Variability Project at Digital Promise, where she designs professional learning for educators that helps them address the needs of the whole learner through research-based practices. In this session, leaders will learn the Designing for Learner Variability framework and how it can support educators as they build an accessible classroom for all learners.

Innovative School Leaders Panel

  • Ryan Cordia is proud to serve as the first principal at Northeast Career and Technical Academy. He has over 15 years of experience as a teacher, coach, and administrator across three states. His passion is deeply rooted in building educational systems that open access to high-skill work for all students. He is the 2022 Clark County Principal of the Year.

  • Dr. Jeronda Majors, PhD., is the Principal at Hudson Middle School. Dr. Majors started her career over 20 years ago with Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) as a social studies teacher at Iroquois Middle School. Dr. Majors earned her bachelor’s degree in history from Howard University, a master’s degree in school counseling from the University of Kentucky and her doctorate in leadership education from Spalding University.

  • Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Lake Worth, ISD (TX). Dr. Deaver led the transformation of Game Development and Design School in Burleson ISD as they implemented the MCP model schoolwide. Dr. Deaver recently received her doctorate at Texas A&M University Commerce, where she defended her research in the spring of 2023. As a lifelong learner and dedicated educator, Deaver believes in the power of education and the opportunities that education provides. 

  • Principal Delgado started at Dewitt Clinton Elementary school in 1999, serving as a seventh- and eighth-grade teacher for a number of years, and then transitioning into school leadership. Principal Delgado has led Clinton Elementary, a neighborhood school serving Pre-K through eighth-grade students from West Ridge and Rogers Park, for six years. She is passionate about enhancing the learning environment for Clinton’s immigrant and refugee students, who speak 45 different languages.
