We Appreciate You
Teacher Appreciation Week is technically at the start of May. Here at MCP, however, we want you to feel appreciated all year - and especially at the end of this long school year. So, this is our message to you:
As the school year wraps up (at least here in the Northern Hemisphere), we also want to share with you a few updates about what we have planned for you over the summer.
June: Revisiting Our Values.
Over the next five weeks, I’ll take a deep dive into each of MCP’s five core values, explaining where they came from and why they matter to us. I hope this will give you a better sense of what we care about here at MCP, and why we do what we do.
July: Focus on Professional Learning.
Starting in July, these emails will focus on a monthly theme - and our first theme will be professional learning! We’ll share more on what makes for outstanding professional learning, and how our materials and approach can contribute to it.
August: Podcast Season 2!
This week, and after 90 episodes, we’re wrapping up the first season of our podcast. We’ve got a few more new episodes planned this summer, so stay tuned - but things will really heat back up again in August, when we return for another 10 months of weekly conversations about all things MCP.
As you rest and recuperate from this stressful year, we hope that these resources will be valuable to you. And I’ll see you next week for a closer look at our first core value: Every student deserves a responsive education. See you then!
